| 説明 | 夢追うビンボーなショーマンたちの、汗と笑いとウソと涙の大奮闘劇！ ブロードウェイ、とある二流ホテルの一室。ここには演劇プロデューサーのゴードン・ミラー(加藤健一)が暮らしている。 彼の劇団は今、新人作家の脚本でもうすでに7週間も稽古を積んでいる芝居がある。芝居の出来は上々。いつ初日を迎えても良いくらいだけど、足りないものがあと一つ――そう、ショービジネスを成功させるために重要な多額の資金だ。 だがミラーの劇団は経済的に大ピンチ。今すぐスポンサーを見つけなければ、初日を迎えるどころか、このホテルから追い出されてしまう。だって、ミラーのツケで22人もの劇団員たちがこのホテルに内緒で飲み食い寝泊りしているのだから。 ホテルの支配人も黙っちゃいない。ぶ厚い請求書を突きつけて「支払えないなら出て行け！」とうるさくミラーにつきまとう。そうとなったら残された道はただ一つ、いつものあの手、トンズラだっ！！ そう思ったその矢先、都会暮らしを始めようと田舎から出てきた新人作家がミラーを頼ってやってくる。演出家と制作助手も荷物をまとめてミラーのもとへ転がり込んできた。 次から次へと降りかかる面倒な事件。なんてこった、一体いつになったら芝居は打てるのか？ 「この芝居が当たったら、ちゃんと支払います。だからそれまで待って…。」 そこへまさに渡りに船、ついにスポンサーが現れた！だが、世の中そんな甘いワケがない！！ 崖っぷちからの起死回生！？ミラーと劇団の運命やいかに！？ |
