What is Mahabharata?
Mahabharata is a classic Indian religious scripture. The title means Great 'Maha' Bharatas story which is almost 15times long of Bible. Mahabharata spreads not only in India, but also Asian countries as Java, Malay, Thai, Bali, etc. They worship Mahabharata as their guideline, like religious, ideal, cultural, philosophical, ethical, political, and legal.
The core story of Mahabharata is a dynastic struggle for the throne. The two collateral branches of the Bharata family that participate in the struggle are the Kaurava and the Pandava. The struggle culminates in the great battle of Kurukshetra. The main cause of the struggle are concupiscence, envy, anger, animosity and sadness.
KOIKE HIROSHI bridge project produced Chapter 1 in Cambodia 2013. And Chapter 2 was in India and 5 other Asian countries 2015.
This Chapter 2.5 is from the scene 'exile to the forest' to before 'the war' scene.
This mythical story was narrated beyond time, nation and religion.
We produce it for all civilian.
Director's Note
Mahabharata is one of the world's three major epic. In Southeastern to Southern Asia, it is the most famous narrative up to Ramayana. We Japanese don't have to learn the details, better to know that this story has linked current events in Japan. Enmity and Suspicion leads the big battle. Can you say, 'Oh, I'm in trouble..' if you were in this kind of situation?
This series began from Cambodia in 2013, India in 2014, this year in Japan and next year in Indonesia and so on…until 2020. Collaborate with asian artists, we are going to create the harmonised world. In contradictory to the ruining story, we seek HARMONY. Based on skilled asian artists' help, we will create the best stage. Please enjoy this middle part of long, long narrative.
Since too long it is, I can't make it in one stage. Till 2017, we continue to represent with talented asian artists and target the Final in 2020.

能楽、ダンス、演劇、アクロバット、生演奏で織りなす”風の吹く”総合舞台芸術！
小池博史meets宮沢賢治シリーズの第3弾となる新作「風の又三郎-Odyssey of Wind-」が2014年10月8日（水）～13日（月・祝）にかけて吉祥寺シアターで上演される。演出家小池博史による宮沢賢治作品舞台化の最終章となる本作には、能楽師の清水寛二、元パパ・タラフマラの松島誠など、多彩な男性パフォーマー5名が出演。舞台美術は現在水戸芸術館での個展「近所の地球」でも話題のアーティスト鈴木康広が担当。世界的な尺八奏者・中村明一、ラッパー・下町兄弟の生演奏と、元イッセイミヤケコレクションデザイナー・浜井弘治による衣装などが“風の吹く空間”を作り上げる。既に来年度以降の海外再演のオファーもあり、世界的な注目作となること必至！
