プレトークを観たら、難しそうなのかな…？というちょっとした不安が全て「面白そう！」に変わりました。モノローグに書き換えられる台詞、一体どうなるのでしょう？楽しみです！

| 説明 | 【400年前の悲恋の物語を全編書き下ろしによる更新 運命と地点の物語へ】 数あるシェイクスピア作品の中でも最も有名な作品の一つ「ロミオとジュリエット」。生まれ落ちた地点と降り掛かる運命に抗う若者の悲恋の物語を、現代を舞台にした長編モノローグ作品として再構築。長大な語りの果てに紡ぎ出される、真実の愛の行方は・・・？ //////////////////////////// 〈言葉の魔術師〉とも称されるシェイクスピアの作品には、リズムを意識した詩的な語りと日常的な会話とが混ざり合っています。強い音楽性を持つその言葉たちを、エゴナクの持つ独特のリリック〈歌詞〉のような台詞を用いて、現代を生きる詩情へと更新します。400年前に書かれた〈事/言葉〉たちは、まるで現代を写す鏡のように今の僕らを照射します。全編を書き換える作業は、その光が、なるべく眩しく、そして遠くまで届くように、鏡を磨きなおす作業そのものです。／ 穴迫信一 |
