| 説明 | ニューヨーク ブルックリン橋のたもと。 日々の生活費を稼ぐためホームレスの一座による、とある「物語」が始まった------------。 1969年パリ。夢とギターを抱えてパリに降り立ったアメリカ人テイラーは、若く美しいフェイスと出会い恋に落ちる。二人は愛し合い、テイラーは未来を信じて子守歌を作り始めた。 しかしベトナム戦争が始まり、曲の完成を前にテイラーはアメリカへ召集されてしまう。 フェイスに子供が身ごもっていたことも知らずに・・・。 彼は再び彼女の前に現れることはなかった。 フェイスは生まれてきた女の子にテイラーの生まれ故郷である、ブルックリンという名をつける。 しかし、戻らぬテイラーへの思いは絶望へと変わり、7歳のブルックリンを残し自らの命を絶ってしまった。 時は経ち、孤児院で育ったブルックリンはある日亡くなった母の言葉に導かれ、まだ見ぬ父親に会うため未完成の子守歌を手掛かりにニューヨーク ブルックリンへと旅立った。 自らも歌手となり、成功を収めるブルックリン。だが彼女の前にはR＆Bの女王と呼ばれるパラダイスが立ちはだかり――― 愛と、名声。そして信頼。 彼らが語る「物語」の結末とは・・・。 |
