いやあもったいない。この出演者、この内容で空席があるとは。
主催者はもっと宣伝に努めてほしい。最近はかなりいろいろな劇場に行っているが、このチラシをチラシ束の中に見つけることはなかった。宣伝さえしっかりやっていれば満席は楽々達成できたはずだ。
場所は誰も知らない d-倉庫。期待せずに行ってみると中は傾斜のついた客席からステージが非常に見やすく、音響もなかなか良いのでびっくりした。女性ボーカルがすっきりと伸びて、変な残響がないのである。演劇、ミュージカル用にきちんと機材を選び設計したものなのだろう。トイレの配置は問題ありだけど水回りはお金が掛かるからこの辺が限界なんだろうねと同情した。
内容は男女の出会いから破局そして死別（後）までを小話でつづって行くコメディー・ミュージカル。こういうものはアメリカ人がやらないと様にならないだろうと避けていたのだが、人名、会社名はアメリカンでエアーの車は左ハンドルであっても、ちゃんと日本の話として楽しむことができた（宗教系は無理だけど）。日本版の脚本、演出がかなり工夫されているのだろう。
出演者は男女３人ずつ、計６人の実力者が歌って演技して少し踊る。この方々をこれだけ近くで観て聴けるとは実に優雅な時間であった。ここまでのレベルになると歌がうまいとか下手とかは考えることも忘れて楽しむことができた。
歌は曲も良く訳詞もこなれていて、「ただしゃべった方が良くね？」というミュージカル嫌いの方にも受け入れられるものと思う。
贅沢を言うとマイクなしで聴きたかったのだが、結構いい音だったので良しとしよう。
電子ピアノはよくスイングしており、ピアノとバイオリンだけにも一場面分の時間を割り振ってほしかった。ただしピアノの音が大きくて歌を消してしまうところがあった。相対的にバイオリンの音が聞こえにくくなって、音程までも怪しく感じられたのは気の毒であった。ＰＡ担当の方はヘッドホンでモニターするだけでなく、客席で自分の耳で聴いてほしいな。
それから幕間の大道具（？）さんの無駄のない動きはなかなか楽しめた。
