7月22日、新宿眼科画廊スペースOで上演された劇団ORIJINAL COLOR第15回公演『D3』trackAを観てきた。この公演は、画廊で開催されている展示の一部分として上演するスタイルをとっており、tarackAからDまでとno torack,all tracksと主役を誰が務めるかで6種類の演出が準備されていた。自分の観たのは、泉川ももが主役を務めたtrackAである。従って、この『D3』という作品を語るには6種類の演出すべてを観ることが理想的なのであるが、今回自分が観ることが出来たのはtrackAのみであり、作品全体を語り尽くす物でないことを最初に断っておきたい。ちなみに、観に行ったきっかけは、顔見知りの役者・嶋谷佳恵(trackCで主役)が出演していたからである。
舞台となるのは、山端梓織(本田真唯)という女性が経営する喫茶店。その梓織が他にやりたいことがあるので店の店長の役割を従業員の二人、凉木慧真(泉川もも)と秋良納深(嶋谷佳恵)のどちらかにやってもらいたいと提案し、どちらが引き受けるか自分が休憩している間に話し合って決めて欲しいと提案し、その場から去る。急な提案に、凉木慧真と秋良納深はお互い悩み話し合う。その話し合う二人の模様が舞台の核となっている。ちなみに、山端が休憩に入る前に常連客・川崎さん(小林勇太)も登場するが、彼の役目は舞台を締めくくるきっかけ作り。結局二人のどちらが受けるのか決まらぬうちに山端が戻ってきて三人で話し合いが始まる。そんな中、常連客の川崎さんが帰り、舞台は幕となる。
上演時間がどのくらいかかったかは忘れてしまったが、この舞台の面白いのは登場人物の動きが基本的にスローであること。その中で、時折主役が普通のスピードで自分の思いを語る。ネット上に書かれた感応の中で、この劇を｢実験劇のよう｣と言っていた方がおられたが、一言で表現するならまさにその実験劇のような感じ。一歩間違えれば舞台全体がダメになってしまうギリギリのところでスローな空間が作り出されていたのが特徴的。
ちなみに、喫茶店が舞台と言うことで有料のコーヒー販売もあったり、客席に置かれた小机や壁に飾られた加工写真も展示品として販売されていた。 -

２４日１６時半からのC trackを拝見。
海に近い街のカフェを舞台にした「静謐劇」といった趣きの１時間の会話劇。
あくまでも私だけの受け止め方かもしれないが、ただ、その場に漂っているだけの人間関係の希薄さ・空虚さが感じ取れた。
あと、にも関わらず…なのだが、ラスト近くの、店の人たちと常連客とのやりとりが、いきなり個人的なツボにハマってしまい、笑いを堪えるのに苦労した。
